“I discovered Dr. Serene almost halfway through my Year 2. I was really lost and struggled to get used to the classes and the standard expected of UOL. I convinced myself that I could handle this and that as long as I worked hard, I would be able to get a pass.
After a few classes with Dr. Serene, she gently but firmly told me that my current answers would not be able to get me to even pass the UOL examinations, let alone score. I was a little worried by that as we were about 2 months away from my finals. Dr. Serene was patient and ever willing to help me learn as she gave me tips and taught me as much as she could during the time that we had left.
The remarks that she leaves after every answer I turn in, as well as her honesty helped me so much in improving my answer scripts. Thanks to her, I managed to score a Second Upper for my exams.
